Nadine is the founder of Au Pair Office and has been guiding host families and au pairs since 2015, with a strong focus on transparency, quality, care, and long-term sustainability. With a background in Communication & Marketing and a passion for international exchange, she combines strategic insight with a deeply personal and hands-on approach. Based near Antwerp, Nadine remains closely involved in the daily operations of the agency and is known for her multilingual communication, sharp judgement, and calm leadership.
What truly sets Nadine apart is her direct involvement with host families beyond the initial match. She personally supports families when questions, doubts, or challenges arise, helping to realign expectations and restore balance where needed. As a mother of four, she understands family life from the inside and brings that lived experience into her work every day.
Outside of Au Pair Office, Nadine recharges by spending time with and travelling with her family. She enjoys long walks with her dogs, Pilates, horse jumping, and sharing meaningful meals together; moments that help her stay grounded and connected.
Elisabeth is a psychologist (Master in Psychology, Belgium) at Au Pair Office and plays a key role in the screening and emotional support of au pairs. She conducts in-depth intakes, supports more complex profiles, and provides ongoing guidance through individual conversations and regular check-ins once au pairs are in Belgium.
Having been an au pair herself in the United States, Elisabeth understands first-hand the emotional challenges of living abroad. This personal experience allows her to support au pairs with empathy and insight, helping them find balance, confidence, and their place within a host family. Emotional well-being, trust, and connection are at the core of her work.
Outside of her professional role, Elisabeth is a devoted mother of three young children. Family life is central to who she is and naturally shapes her sensitivity to family dynamics and childcare realities. Spending time with her husband and children gives her energy and perspective and informs the care she brings into every interaction.
Kaylene is Au Pair Office’s marketing intern and supports the team across marketing activities, social media, and events. While studying marketing, she actively contributes fresh ideas for content, storytelling, and visual identity. Originally from South Africa, Kaylene was herself an au pair in Belgium, giving her first-hand insight into the au pair experience and the challenges and rewards of living abroad.
Her background allows her to communicate authentically with both au pairs and host families, always keeping the values of community, care, and connection at the heart of her work.
Outside of Au Pair Office, Kaylene finds joy in the details of everyday life: from art and fashion to meaningful conversations. She enjoys long walks, video calling her family back home, and spending time with friends she met during her au pair year. Sharing good food and drinks and having deep, genuine conversations are moments she truly values and believes lie at the core of the au pair experience.
