Coffee calls
A monthly online meeting, held on Thursdays at 1 pm. During these calls we’ll discuss practical formalities, inspectorate matters, travelling and any concerns or questions.
These meetings are meant for Au Pair Office au pairs who are planning to travel abroad, who have questions or concerns or who are eager to share their experiences.
Events
We value cultural exchange and offer au pairs the chance to immerse themselves in our culture. Meeting other au pairs on arrival in Belgium helps to counter homesickness.
We organize at least 2 events yearly for all au pairs to make new friendships and explore Belgium together. Follow our social media for pictures and videos of previous events!
Trainings
During orientation training we cover topics such as effective communication with the host family, giving and receiving feedback, childcare and fun activities to do with children.
Additionally, we offer the option for your au pair to attend a first aid course for a fee. It’s a reassuring thought to know that your au pair is equipped to handle unforeseen situations.
